Project Monitoring - 20th January

Week 1:
I feel this week has been an unsuccessful week, as I have not met all of my deadlines I set for myself. I planned to write my 2nd article this week and unfortunately did not get it finished. I miscalculated how long it would take me to write the whole of the article and did not leave enough time in my schedule to complete the article. To correct this and get myself back on track I plan to do use some extra homework time to ensure I complete this article for next week.

I booked all of my photoshoots for next week and have briefed all of my models to what they need to wear, what to do during the shoot and when they need to be there. I also made sure I told my models to be at the shoot at least 5 minutes before so that I can make sure they have done everything I have asked and again tell them in more detail what I expect and what I want the final outcome of the shoot to be. This will ensure that when it is time to do the photoshoot we can get straight on with it and this will give me the best opportunity to get as many photos as possible so I have more to chose from.

I successfully relooked at my 1st article layout and decided what I want to add or change. I feel that if I add a breakout box and include information about brain tumours and brain bleeds. I feel this will give the readers more background knowledge and will add to the layout of the page. I have successfully added this breakout box and put in the relevant information.

I have chosen and saved all the fonts I would like to use for the whole magazine and put them in the relevant folders so I know straight away which font will be used on whichever article I am working on.

As for the homework tasks I have set myself I have successfully done 2 out of the 3. As I have not finished my first draft of my 2nd article I have not been able to do my 2nd draft so this will have to be done next week in my spare time. I planned to only start my 3rd article this week but I have completed this article ahead of schedule.
